The "Young at Heart" Senior Ministry meets at the church
on the 2nd and 4th Fridays at 12:00 a.m. for a light lunch. Some eagerly arrive early, so they enjoy
fellowship and coffee until everyone arrives. Fellowship
continues through lunch.
The teaching portion of the meeting is always changing as the ladies rotate each month to share the Word. New and interesting presentations will make the Scripture study exciting and alive. Next is a time of sharing prayer requests and the laying on of hands in prayer for one another as needed. It is a time for strengthening the bonds of friendship.
The ladies go to their projects. They made a quilt for each Missionary on our wall. They raffled the first quilt and the quilting continues. The group started with crocheting for Women's Ministries. Their overall goal is to help the Missionaries. The ladies have lots of ideas! They welcome your suggestions and ask that you stop by the church to share your ideas. From time to time our ladies from First Assembly of God at Pepper Dr. have met with senior ladies from other churches for fellowship and worship. They will have more group meetings as the opportunities arise.
