Izzy Forsyth ~ YWAM
              (Youth With A Mission)

 

I am serving on staff at Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Denver.  I've learnt a LOT about trusting God, practical leadership and communication - and dealing with some intense spiritual warfare.  Preparation for... well - guess I'll find out more as God continues to grow and prepare me one step at a time!

A personal best memory for me is summiting my first 14'er with a hiking group from a local church.  14'ers are mountains over 14,000 ft (4200m) - pretty common in Colorado.  However, I discovered there is a reason why no trees grow up at those heights... it's pretty difficult to breathe.  It's hard to describe, but the feeling of accomplishment when you summit these peaks - especially knowing that about 9 months of the year they are inaccessible due to bad weather/snow - is huge.  Plus the wildflowers and views are breathtaking...

I'm so amazed by God and what He is doing - I've been working with the Discipleship Training Schools - so much more hands on stuff with students.  Worship opportunities continue to open up, and within that, God is gradually shedding more light on the vision He has given me to raise up prophetic/worship/intercession teams to go to the nations...

May God's blessings rain down on you and your family.  He is so faithful to His children!

Izzy plays Saxophone (and Keyboard) with the YWAM worship team.  She is presently attending a Leadership Training program at YWAM in Denver, Colorado.  She also takes worship teams to minister world-wide.  Izzy originates from Great Britain.
